On November 10, 2025, a public seminar was held within the project BG-175467353-2022-04/12-12-2022 “Impact of digitalization on innovative approaches in human resources management”, funded by the Scientific Research Fund, as part of the activities planned to popularize scientific results. The event was hosted by Chief Assistant Professor Radka Nacheva, PhD from the Department of Informatics – a member of the project team.
The lecturers were Ilina Miteva and Dr. Zahari Barbov – representatives of the company KBC Global Services. They introduced the 3rd and 4th year students of the bachelor programs “Informatics and Computer Science”, “Mobile and Web Technologies”, and “Digital Technologies in Business” to the company’s field of activity, the activities of the KBC IT Hub opened in 2021, and the challenges and solutions in the search and professional training of talents in the company. The lecturers introduced the audience to the process of personnel recruitment and selection in IT departments. They gave valuable advice to students on what to pay attention to when preparing a CV when applying for a job, and when preparing their overall presentation during an interview for a job position. They presented a so-called “onboarding roadmap” that all employees in the company go through and the opportunities they have for professional and personal development.
The event ended with a game in which students answered questions on the presented topic. Three of the students who coped with the task the fastest and most correctly received awards from KBC Global Services. These are:
