On March 18, 2026, in the “Momentum” hall of the University of Economics – Varna, a final conference was held under the project BG-175467353-2022-04/12-12-2022 “Impact of digitalization on innovative approaches in human resource management”, funded by the Scientific Research Fund, as part of the activities planned under the project to popularize scientific results.
The topic of the event is “Digital Transformation in HR: Innovations, Technologies and the Future of the Workforce”.
Some of the scientific results include:
- Derivation of new theoretical knowledge regarding the concept of “digitalization – innovative approaches to HRM” in modern business organizations
- Identification and analysis of key activities of the HRM process, as well as the way in which digitalization impacts them
- Research of the challenges facing HRM in the interaction of people and modern technologies in a work environment, including digital accessibility for people with disabilities
- Development of an innovative HRM model based on digital transformation in selected sectors
- Development of a conceptual model for a prototype for an HRM information system
- Formalized presentation of recommendations regarding digital accessibility to the workplace for people with disabilities
- Development of scientific publications and a guide with good practices and recommendations regarding legislation, the educational system and organizations related to HRM in the context of digitalization.
The participants shared their research and practical experience in the field of human resources management. The results of the project implementation, good practices in people management were presented. The opportunities for future research on the topic were discussed.
